Summary
Ririn currently works as secretary and freelance English translator. She received her undergraduate diploma in English Language from Pelita Harapan University in 2003 and currenly enrolled in Education Management Master's Program at Yogyakarta State University since 2016. Her hobbies includes reading novels, listening to music, particularly classical pieces and KPop tracks, and cooking.
Motivation
Ririn wanted to follow in the footsteps of several of her family members who are able to speak in 2-3 languages. She also has a friend in South Korea who are fluent in Indonesian and she wants to return the favor by being able to speak fluently in Korean. For her, joining Polyglot Indonesia meant expanding her network and promoting learning language in a fun and enjoyable way.
Biography
Ririn was born in Jakarta and spent her childhood life in various cities across Indonesia due to her father's work in the Indonesian Armed Forces. She settled down in Jakarta to pursue her undergraduate degree in English Language from Pelita Harapan University in 2003. She moved to Yogyakarta in 2016 to continue her education in Education Management in Yogyakarta State University. From 2012 she started to work as a freelance translator and she also currently works as secretary for Yayasan Pendidikan Komunikasi AKINDO Yogyakarta. She loves coffee, novels, classical music, and KPop songs. She aspires to one day be able to speak Korean fluently.
