“Follow your dreams” is my motivation. I believe that everything started from a dream, whether small or big. Through dreams, I am what I am today. When I was a little girl, I used to dream about going abroad by airplane. I remember that I read lots of books about culture and history even though I didn’t understand. I just looked at the countless pictures of world historical sites and made a note to myself: I have to go there someday. When I was given the opportunity to study abroad through a scholarship, finally one of my dreams came true: going abroad by airplane!
I believe that dreams will lead people to their goal and create the opportunity, so will Polyglot Indonesia. This community is initiated from a dream to gather multi-language speakers across Indonesia. This community has opened an opportunity for us to learn more about culture and language, and create a way for a people to connect and share the same passion.
When I was in high school, I was given the opportunity to study in Italy. There, I went to the public school and learned the language as well. During my stay in Italy, I lived with an Italian family and experienced the real Italian culture. My exchange student journey has helped me a lot to understand about the culture difference and how to deal with it.
After graduating from university, I am now working as a PR and Marketing professional. I like traveling, books, social media, music and culture. I also speak 7 languages: Bahasa Indonesia, Italian, Spanish, Catalan, English, French, and a little bit of Korean. For me, learning the language is about passion.
