She graduated from elementary school in 2005 and she continued to study in SMPN 5 Bogor. There, she joined Theatre Club, Majelis Perwakilan Kelas (MPK), and traditional dance club. Her teacher said that she has the talent for acting, but she thought she doesn't have a heart for acting, as well as dancing. Besides, Dian enjoyed to be a class representative. But, she never found what she really want to do.

In 2008, Dian enrolled in SMAN 3 Bogor and joined Cheerleader Club and Taekwondo. She enjoyed both activities while tried to maintain her grades. Then, in 2010, she transferred to a high school in Jakarta and spent her time reading books with The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and all of Agatha Christie novels being her favorite. Thanks to that, she had a dream to become a novelist.

Afterwards, Dian enrolled in Communication Studies at Universitas Gadjah Mada. In her first year, she learned about Psychology of Communication and become interested in learning new language. In that class, the lecturer often talked about the importance of language, perception, and communication. A sentence can be perceived differently with different words or combinations. That is why we never get bored when we learn a new language. Because a slight difference can change your perception in various ways. After that, Dian started learning a bit of Japanese, Dutch, German, Thai, and joined French courses. To practice her conversation skill, she volunteered as a local guide for foreign students and applied for an internship in Permanent Mission of Republic Indonesia to ASEAN.
