German Language Coordinator

Summary

Bagus is a mysterious man who likes to look for inspiration and internal motivation in unexpected places. With this habits, he believes that great ideas and great spirits are often found by connecting random things. Beside his mysterious side, Bagus loves many German-related things especially its education system because when he was a child he lives in Germany for a couple of years accompanying his father pursuing his Ph.D. Bagus currently works at PT Trans Intra Asia as a fisheries management consultant.

Motivation

Being a fisheries management specialist, Bagus was motivated to maintain his German language skill because references about fisheries natural resource and fishing technology are easier to find in German language and he hasn't give up on studying marine and fisheries science in Germany. By joining Polyglot, he can maintain his German language skill by continuously practicing German language with his German table group friends. In the future, he plans to study Spanish and Dutch. Learning a foreign and ethnic language is also more than just for boosting one's CV or handy for travelling or working. It will make you smarter, more perceptive, and even better in socializing with the locals. Moreover, being bi- or multilingual will make us a better person in observing our surroundings and able to make rational decisions. Being part of Polyglot Indonesia helps me in maintaining the foreign languages I've learned before and develop a better ear for listening.
